The CDC has reported that about 59% of U.S. guys from 20 to 29 years of age are under 5-foot-10.

When a shorter guy “owns it” it’s awesome.  They don’t have to be full of machismo to feel like a big guy.  A great deal of the “big guys” really don’t have a lot more than that to offer.
